Pupils and parents are reminded that this is NOT an in-service day.Â
The in-service day has been moved to Monday 4 June 2012 to tie in with the Jubilee Holiday on 5 June. In-service and holiday dates for this term were given in the edition of Update issued at the end of last term.

Aberdeen City Council is very confident in the quality of education for young people at Dyce Academy and this has been endorsed by the HMIE which identified in its recent inspection report that a particular strength was that teachers are meeting the needs of all learners.
From our own monitoring of the school, Dyce Academy is showing improved performance in a number of key areas, namely an upward trend in examination results. It also has the lowest rate of exclusions in the city and the highest rate for pupils going on to higher or further education or employment.
The school roll is increasing with new families joining the school on a regular basis.
Parents have the right to decide which school their child attends and we are entirely satisfied Dyce Academy is providing an excellent education.
