Final Consultation on Summer School Holidays 2021-2025

In May 2019 the Aberdeen City Council Education Operations Committee considered the public feedback on the school holiday pattern. They approved retaining the general pattern of school holidays of previous years with the exception of bringing the summer holidays forward by one week. The Committee requested that further consultation should be sought to agree when the summer holidays should start from 2020-21 to 2024-25.

ACC are seeking the views of all parents, school staff and children and young people.

Parents and staff are asked to provide responses via this link https://forms.gle/vJBQzyuem3pdNuvo7 – students will be asked to provide responses within school.

The survey opens Monday 9 September 2019 until Friday 20 September 2019.

Dyce Developments & Amenities Committee Donation

Dyce Academy are delighted to receive a very generous donation of £500 from the Dyce Developments and Amenities Committee.

Kevin Walker (secretary), presenting the cheque to the SfL department, said that “Without your efforts and work, many of us would struggle with our loved ones to cope with the difficulties they are going through.”

The donation recognises in particular the work done with children with Autistic Spectrum Condition.  This will be used to further enhance our ASC resource provision.
