Are you aged 16 or over? Then it’s time to get #ReadyToVote

Get #ReadyToVote 16 and 17 year olds can vote in the 2017 Scottish council elections. This means that if you’re 16 or over on 4 May 2017, you’ll be able to vote – but you need to register first. It only takes a few minutes to register online. On Monday 27th March we will be helping 16 and 17 year olds get #ReadyToVote by running a registration event in room 215 during P5&6 (full details of timings are in the bulletin). This is your opportunity to join the 80,000 16 and 17 year olds who registered to vote in the last election. If you’re 16 or over you’ll need your date of birth and National Insurance number to register to vote. If you can’t find your national insurance number, visit: gov.uk/lost-national-insurance-number. (If you’re not yet 16 you won’t need your National Insurance number to register)
