We welcome Ojja Godfrey Ajeo and Rose Anne Onynago to Dyce Academy. They will be in school all week and have already been to many lessons, from S2 to S6 in Social Subjects, Geography, Modern Studies, RMPS, English and History.
Tonight we will be holding a quiz from 5-7 pm in the staff room. Teams of 4 are welcome, tickets £5.00 per team.
Congratulations to 17 S4 pupils who all successfully completed their Bronze DofE Expedition last weekend in the area between Balmoral Castle and Loch Muick. All were well organised and enjoyed good weather throughout. They were a credit to the school in their behaviour and concern for the environment. We now look forward to their presentations in a few weeks time.

Reminder to all S1 parents that this will take place on Thursday 29 August at 7.00 pm in the MPA at Dyce Academy.
Sir Malcolm Bruce, Member of Parliament for Gordon Constituency which includes both Dyce and Newmachar, visited the school on Thursday 22nd August. Sir Malcolm spoke to National 4/5 Modern Studies pupils about his work in Parliament and in the constituency reflecting on changes during his 30 year career in the House of Commons. Pupils were particularly interested in what ideas drew him into politics in his teenage years and his work with the Overseas Aid Select Committee.
