At Dyce Academy we understand the importance of being part of a strong community and equally, supporting that community.
From Monday 30th November until Friday 11th December we will be collecting a variety of items as part of our food drive to support the Dyce community. Items donated for this can include non-perishable packaged food, toiletries and unused gifts. Items will be collected from pupils during registration time.
2020 has been a very hard year for everyone so any donation or contribution would be so greatly appreciated.

Last year Dyce Academy worked with Dyce Primary and New Machar primary to organise and run 2 swap shops in which members of the community could either donate old school uniform items they no longer needed or have a look at donations for any other uniform items they could put to good use. Covid meant that we could no longer operate in the same way as before but we have now organised a way to get our Swap Shop up and running again.
Donating items
If you wish to donate any school clothing items, a box will be made available at the front reception area on Thursdays and Fridays only. The box will be clearly marked as “Swap Shop”. We ask that you wrap any clothes item in a bag and leave it in the box for safe storing and isolating.
Requesting items
If you request a uniform item you must now do this through a very short google form.
This form simply asks what item and size. We will collect your email address and let you know if we have the item available or not. If the item is available your child will be able to collect it from the reception area shortly after requesting it.
