Due to burst pipes, the ACMS residence is currently closed until the damage can be assessed by engineers and electricians. Individual families will be contacted by ACMS staff.
Dyce Academy will be open tomorrow (Monday 6 December). Heating and water have been restored after the problems on Friday.
Update – 9.00 am
Dyce Academy will open at 9.30 am with registration at 10.00 am. Simpsons Coaches are still running. Newmachar Coaches are not running but will be providing a smaller bus to collect S4 pupils from Newmachar who have examinations today. The Bucksburn shuttle bus will not operate today.
The French and History exams scheduled for today will go ahead, starting at 10.00 am.Â
The Technological Studies exam has been rescheduled for Tuesday 7 December at the following times –
The SG English and Int 1/2 Music exams scheduled for Wednesday 1 December will now take place on Wednesday 8 December.
The exams scheduled for Wednesday 8 December (SG Physics, SG Science and Int1/2 Art) will now take place on Tuesday 14 December.
Study leave for S4 pupils will not be extended – pupils will return to normal classes on Monday 13 December.

For a week in February 2011 Ms Cullen, Mr Millar and four S5/6 pupils will be travelling to Kisumu, Kenya and we will be welcoming return visitors to the school in March. We are holding a Quiz in the MPA on Monday 13th December to support our fundraising for these exchange visits. Teams of five members cost £10 (single tickets available for £3). Please contact Mr Millar at the school if you are interested.
