E-SGOIL EASTER STUDY SUPPORT FOR SENIOR PHASE LEARNERS

e-Sgoil Easter Study Support provides live and interactive online webinars, delivered by experienced and fully GTCS-Registered subject specialist teachers. Last year, there were more than 15000 registrations. The service is completely free for learners.

For Easter Study Support 2022, there will be eighty webinar groups covering sixty-six courses, ranging across levels from N4 through to N5, Higher and AH. Each group will meet for three different online sessions.

Students can register for e-Sgoil Easter Study Support 2022, by clicking on the link below.  They will need their Glow login details to register.  

If anyone is unsure of their Glow login, follow the Glow link below.  Sign in with their usual gwnn?????? but with @glow.sch.uk at the end instead of ab-ed.org and click on “I have forgotten my password”.  They will then be able to reset their password and once this is done can login to e-Sgoil.

Any student with problems with their Glow login, should see Mrs Jamieson or Ms Strachan.

S5-6 Course Choice Information

Course information for students intending to stay on for S5/6 next session has been place on the S3-6 Course Choice page of the website. The online Choice Form will go live on Monday 7 March.

Parents are invited to an online Information Evening about the course choice procedure on Tuesday 8 March. An link to the meeting will be sent out via Groupcall at the end of this week.

NESCOL Preparation for Higher Courses

There are a number of short courses on offer at NESCOL to assist students in preparing for end of year exams in Higher Sciences and Maths.

Over seven evening sessions in the weeks leading up to the final exam, learners will work in small groups with other candidates to practise exam-style questions. Coaching during the class will help them improve the way they approach a range of questions. They will also cover aspects of the curriculum that have been identified as poorly answered in previous exams.
