Well done to all the S4, 5 & 6 pupils who competed

in the first ever senior phase

Softball Tournament at Dyce Academy!

Special Congratulations go to the

Green Team – Cleveland

who were the overall winners!! Well Done!!

A fantastic afternoon was had by all and it was great to see so many pupils competing for their specific team and the effort that most pupils gave to wearing their team colours!

The Health & Wellbeing, Physical Education Faculty were very proud of all pupils. Their behaviour, teamwork and performances were of a very high standard.

It was wonderful to see such a high level of batting and fielding in Monday’s tournament!!

I would also like to thank all staff who helped umpire the matches and those who came out to the field to supervise, encourage and support our pupils.

S5-6 Induction – 6 and 7 June 2013

S5-6 Induction takes place on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 June. Students should assemble in the MPA at 9.30 am on Thursday. School uniform must be worn and S5 students will be presented with their school tie.

A full programme for the 2 days will be given on Thursday including details of an orientation visit to Bucksburn Academy for those pupils who have timetabled classes there.

Dyce Academy – Vision and Values

Vision and Values

S3 Graphic Communication pupils have been designing posters to promote Dyce Academy’s Vision and Values. The entire class worked incredibly hard to design some eye-catching, professional and creative posters. Three outstanding designs, by Fraser Leslie, Andrew Kelly and Vicky Gerrard, have been chosen to be displayed around the school. The pupils will also work with a professional signage company to create a display for one of the exterior school walls in order to further promote the positive ethos at Dyce Academy. Well done to Fraser, Andrew and Vicky.
