Mock Trial Competition
Nine S4, S5 and S6 pupils from Dyce Academy volunteered at the last minute to step into the Aberdeenshire Mock Trial competition on Saturday 6 October at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
In doing so they kept the competition on course and this was greatly appreciated by the organisers. The team were a credit to the school and “acquitted” themselves extremely well against their 3 opponents who had much longer to prepare.
Congratulations to the participants in representing the school and the city so well. They are already looking forward to next year.
Dyce Academy DofE Groups
Dyce Academy has a long established Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme that offers participants the opportunity to gain the Bronze, Silver or Gold Awards.
Information leaflets and entry forms for the coming session have been issued to interested pupils in S3 upwards. These should be returned to Mr Ferguson or Mr Jackson no later than Friday 2nd November. Pupils should read the information carefully and seek further information on www.dofe.org.uk
Valencia Trip – October 2012
A Parents’ Evening for the Valencia trip will be held on Tuesday 18 September at 6.30 pm in the school.
