Dyce Academy

The Dyce Academy Community and Enterprise ambassadors took part in Northsound 1’s Cash for Kids Schools Challenge in which they lead various activities to fundraise for in-school initiatives. They planned events such as a dress down day, a raffle, guess the sweets in a jar and who could forget our most popular event, Sponge a Teacher.  The events were a massive success and the pupils raised over £600. Northsound 1 stopped by to tell us we had been placed 3rd in their schools challenge and because of this they matched our funding, making us come away with £1,315 for in-school support initiatives. Well done to everyone involved!

e-Sgoil Easter Study Support will run from 3 to 14 April 2023. The programme comprises live, interactive webinars delivered by experienced, GTCS registered teachers from across Scotland. A total of 80 webinar groups are on offer this year, covering 30 subjects. Each group will meet for three separate webinar sessions.

Last year, there were over 15000 webinar registrations and learners’ evaluations were overwhelmingly positive. The service is free to all learners.

School will open to pupils and staff at 9.35 am today . School transport will pick up pupils one hour later than normal. Whytes and Newmachar coaches are not operating today.
