The Aberdeen Schools Hydrogen Challenge has been developed through the Arcola Energy for Schools programme, which has delivered science and technology workshops to more than 5,000 children and young people since its launch in autumn 2010. On Thursday 11Â September a group of S4 pupils from Engineering Science, Physics and Chemistry took part in a 90 min workshop. Students worked in teams to engineer 1.5W hydrogen fuel cells efficient vehicles using custom-designed Lego kits. The winning team progressed through to the Aberdeen City Final in which the Dyce Academy team won. The winning team consisted of Ross Keech, Jessica Oyovwevotu, Jordan Sainsbury and Kim Moir.
